Due to the heavy snowfall forecasted for tonight, our concert with Acoustic Circus will be cancelled. We’ll bring the band back at a future date. We wish everyone a safe and warm evening!
JustGoods has been gearing up for the holiday season with lots of new things including unusual and interesting things from our new vendors, Sobremesa, Far Fetched, and Pilgrim’s Imports. Coming up is a special event featuring art by members of The Arc of Winnebago, Boone, and Ogle Counties. For the month of November, art by their members will be showing in the Listening Room Gallery and the proceeds from sale of art will go to the various programs of The Arc. And if you’re looking for a fun thing to do with your family on Saturday November 7, drop by when members of The Arc and staff from Rockford Park District will hold a drop-in art class from noon to 5pm.
On Sunday November 8, at 3pm, Spring Creek UCC will hold a special benefit concert to raise money to pay for the solar panels that currently sit atop the building at JustGoods. Talents include: Emily Hurd, Mark Dvorak, Trinadora, Lee Murdock, Dorothy Paige Turner, Justin Gates Bruce Wallace, and Macyn Taylor. It should be a fun afternoon of music and stories all to benefit sustainable energy.
We’ll close on Thursday November 26 for Thanksgiving and reopen Friday November 27 for the start of our Annual Black Friday Weekend Sale. All regular priced merchandise will be 20% off (excluding food) and the savings continue into Saturday November 28. Sale starts at 10am (no we’re not opening at Midnight!) but we’ll have extended hours on Friday when the Matthew Ed Stillman Band will entertain us for Friday Night Concerts.

We’re assessing our Peace Coffee supplies and realized we have a few that are in low demand. In trying to keep our supply of Peace Coffee fresh for everyone, we will be phasing out these coffees. We will eventually discontinue Full City Decaf and only carry Decaf Dark. We will also discontinue Blue Ox and Morning Glory, and French Roast as our medium and dark roasts.
We will still carry Guatemalan, Mexican, Sumatran, Peruvian, Ethiopian, and Decaf Dark. If you are having problems deciding which coffees to buy because your favourite is gone, please speak to one of our friendly volunteers. We’re happy to help you select a coffee that meets your taste.
And don’t forget your Coffee Club card. Buy 10 bags of coffee and get a bag free.
